The wildlife along the Maroochydore River is truly spectacular. Birdwatchers come here all year long to catch sight of an abundance of waterbirds, such as Black Ducks, Cormorants and Spoonbills. The area is well known for the flocks of birds that nest along our waterways in this profoundly beautiful and untouched habitat.
The river scenery invites you to take a relaxing stroll along the wooden walkways and into the natural rainforest. Spend some time watching the native birdlife and stop for a cup of latte and a lamington at a local cafe. If you need a bit more excitement, you can even hire a jet ski or go paddle boarding on the river.
You can even throw a line in and catch a fish for your dinner, sign up the family for a fishing trip or drop a line off our private pontoon.
