This is our 3rd stay at the Duporth. I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment for myself and my elderley mum, and about 2 weeks … More before we arrived the manager called me to say there was a problem with the unit we had booked and that he could offer us a 3 bedroom apartment on a higher floor at no extra cost. This was great as we had stayed in this unit before. It was a beautiful, spacious unit that had been done up since our last stay and it was great. Plenty of utensils and crockery and glassware in the kitchen if you wanted to entertain. The views were amazing, people fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and we even had a pontoon boat come passed with people singing and dancing on board. You could see all the large ships going passed out to the ocean. The facilities are great with the heated pol and good sized gym. The unit was close to everything. 5 minutes to Sunshine Plaza with every store you could want, 30 minutes to Caloundra and 30 minutes to The Ginger Factory and onto Coolum. The Manager and his staff are wonderful. Very polite, knowledgeable and nothing was a problem to them. We love our stays at The Duporth and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing and quiet holiday.

Be no need to have a car It has Supermarket across the road and a big shopping centre 5 min walk. Plenty of dining options at the door step. Would not hesitate to .stay again.

We stayed 5 nights this time and never took the car out of the garage as the restaurants and Woolworths are all within walking distance. We plan on going back early in 2024.
